Monica qualified as a dentist from King’s College London in 2016 and gained her early professional experience in general dental practice before working in the Community Dental Service – treating patients who were too anxious to be treated in general practice. Here she had lots of experience in helping patients to overcome their dental phobias and picked up many techniques to make dentistry as pain-free as possible!
She has recently completed a post in hospital, as a Senior House Officer in the Maxillofacial Surgery Department, where she was able to carry out complex Oral Surgery and trained to treat patients under Sedation.
Monica has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and ensures that she keeps up to date with the latest advances in dentistry by regularly attending postgraduate courses. She has completed her Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with The Royal College of Surgeons and is currently in the process of completing a Certificate in Dental Implantology.
Monica is a very approachable and caring dentist. She understands that a visit to the dentist will perhaps never be something that patients look forward to, but she will always make sure that your experience in her care is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
In her spare time Monica enjoys going to the gym, travelling and spending time with family and loved ones. She is also keen on interior design and is currently enjoying the process of decorating her new home.
